Privacy policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This policy is a draft and is subject to legal review. Items marked [TO CONFIRM] will be completed before it is finalised.

ReGen Agro Industries is an Australian-focused organic waste and biofertiliser business. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through regenindustries.com, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Who we are

This website is operated by ReGen Agro Industries (registered entity name: [TO CONFIRM: registered legal entity name]; ABN: [TO CONFIRM: ABN]). Our business address is Suite 525, Level 5, 368 Sussex Street, Sydney NSW 2000. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that business.

We help councils, waste companies, farms and vineyards turn organic waste into biofertiliser and soil conditioner, with equipment, biology and end-to-end support.

2. What personal information we collect

When you submit our enquiry form, we collect the information you enter:

  • your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number
  • your organisation and your role (for example council, waste management company, farm, vineyard or other)
  • your state or territory (or that you are outside Australia)
  • what you are interested in (for example biofertiliser products, processing equipment, feasibility or system design, biologicals, or partnership)
  • the type and approximate volume of organic waste, if you tell us
  • any message you write, and the page or product you were enquiring about
  • your confirmation that you agree to us storing your details and contacting you about your enquiry

If you use the chat assistant on our website, or contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to tell us, along with your email address or phone number. Our website also receives standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health or financial details). Please do not include it in your message.

3. Why we collect it and how we use it

  • to respond to your enquiry and follow up with you about our products, equipment or services
  • to record and manage your enquiry as a contact and a sales opportunity in our customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • to understand which kinds of organisations are interested in our work, so we can prepare relevant information
  • to operate, secure and improve the website, including preventing spam and abuse
  • to meet our legal obligations

We only use your information for these purposes, or for a related purpose you would reasonably expect, unless you consent or the law allows or requires otherwise.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and handle enquiries:

  • GoHighLevel (provided to us under the Smart AI Global brand, app.smartaiglobal.com): our CRM. Your enquiry details are sent to it when you submit the form, and it also powers the chat widget.
  • Vercel: hosts and delivers the website, and provides privacy-friendly usage analytics.
  • Google: provides Google Analytics 4 (only if enabled, see below) and the embedded map on our Contact page.
  • Email and messaging providers, if you contact us by email or WhatsApp.

Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and potentially other countries. [TO CONFIRM: the regions where our CRM and hosting data are stored.] Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the provider handles it consistently with the APPs, as required by APP 8.

We may also disclose information to our professional advisers, or where required or authorised by law.

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including to manage our relationship with you and to meet legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it.

6. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. The website is served over HTTPS, enquiry data is passed from our server to our CRM over an encrypted connection, access credentials are kept server-side, and the form includes basic spam and rate-limit protections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will respond in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act.

7. Your rights: access, correction and complaints

You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading. You can also ask us to delete your information or stop contacting you, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. We will respond within a reasonable time and, where we cannot agree to a request, tell you why.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under local data protection law, such as objecting to or restricting processing. Contact us and we will consider your request.

If you have a privacy concern or complaint, please contact us first (details below) so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our website does not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other sites. It may set or use cookies and similar technologies in the following limited ways:

  • Vercel Web Analytics: measures page views and visitor numbers in aggregate, without using cookies to track you across sites.
  • Google Analytics 4: loaded only if we have enabled it with a measurement ID. When enabled, Google may set cookies and collect information about how you use the site, including your IP address, which Google processes under its own privacy policy. [TO CONFIRM: whether Google Analytics 4 is switched on in production.]
  • Chat widget (GoHighLevel): when you use the chat assistant, the provider may use cookies or local storage to keep your conversation and identify your session.
  • Embedded map (Google Maps) on the Contact page: Google may collect technical information when the map loads.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on. Doing so will not stop you from using the website.

Our website links to third-party services, such as WhatsApp (wa.me), email and Google Maps directions. These are not under our control, and this policy does not cover them. Please read their privacy policies before sharing information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its “last updated” date.
